Making More Physical Activity Possible: BLOACS Supports Slackline Projects with Its Own Funding Pool
There are many good ideas for incorporating more physical activity into everyday life. In schoolyards, parks, club grounds, and public spaces, new concepts are constantly emerging that can bring people together and create new spaces for physical activity. Often, however, implementation fails not because of the idea itself, but because of a lack of funding.
This is exactly where the BLOACS grant fund of over 10,000 euros on fairplaid.org comes in .
Together with BLOACS, we want to help schools, municipalities, clubs, and initiatives collectively fund slackline facilities and turn a good idea into a concrete project.
Why Slacklining Is More Than Just a Sport
Slacklining combines balance, concentration, coordination, and community. It’s accessible to everyone, makes physical activity visible, and creates spaces where people can come together: children and teens, families, club members, or neighbors.
A BLOACS slackline system can be more than just a new piece of sports equipment. It can become a gathering place. A way to get active in public spaces. And a project that an entire community can rally behind.
Here's how the BLOACS grant fund provides support
Through the BLOACS funding pool on fairplaid.org, eligible projects can receive additional support. BLOACS provides grants of up to 700 euros for projects related to slackline facilities. For every contribution of at least 10 euros received by the crowdfunding project, an additional 10 euros will be added from the BLOACS funding pool—up to a total of 500 euros! In addition, the first 10 projects will receive seed funding of 200 euros.
This makes it easier to get started and gives project initiators a strong foundation for engaging their community.

Who is eligible for the grant fund?
The BLOACS grant program is specifically aimed at organizations and institutions that wish to create or expand physical activity programs. These include, for example:
Schools and educational institutions that want to make their schoolyards more active.
Municipalities and local communities that want to enhance public spaces for physical activity.
Sports clubs, youth centers, and social service organizations that would like to develop new programs for children, teenagers, or families.
Initiatives that aim to bring more exercise, social interaction, and activity to their neighborhoods.
Crowdfunding turns an idea into a community project
The unique advantage of fairplaid crowdfunding: The funding isn’t shouldered by the project initiators alone. They can actively involve their community: parents, club members, local businesses, residents, or people who want to promote more physical activity in their region.
This not only secures funding for a slackline course, but also generates visibility, a sense of connection, and support for the project.
The FAIRPLAID project coaches guide project initiators step by step—from the initial project idea through the preparation phase to engaging the community.
Achieving More Together
With the BLOACS grant fund, a good idea becomes a realistic next step. Anyone who wants to create a place where people can get active, find balance, and experience a sense of community can get started right away.
Whether it's a schoolyard, a club grounds, a park, or a public space: With FAIRPLAID and BLOACS, it's possible to collectively fund a slackline setup.
