Stadtwerke SH relies on digital conveyor infrastructure with FAIRPLAID
The Stadtwerke SH Crowd is another partner platform from the FAIRPLAID network going live - together with Stadtwerke SH (Stadtwerke Schleswig, Eckernförde and Rendsburg). This gives non-profit initiatives from the Schleswig-Holstein region their own digital funding infrastructure - combined with a local funding pot and regional visibility.
About the cooperation
Stadtwerke SH has been pursuing a clear strategy for years: regional value creation, social commitment and the promotion of local projects. With the new platform, they are consistently expanding this role - digital, scalable and directly geared towards the needs of local people.
FAIRPLAID provides the technological infrastructure, know-how and supplementary modules for this:

Management of a project-related funding pot
Automated rewards and donation handling
Project coaching for initiatives from the region

The cooperation shows how municipal utilities - as a central part of municipal services of general interest - can expand their role as local promoters. In addition to visibility and image enhancement, the platform also provides data-based insights into social issues and promotes direct dialog with associations, initiatives and citizens.

The launch of the Stadtwerke SH Crowd creates a digital space where people from the region can make their projects visible, finance them and implement them with the support of Stadtwerke. The first projects have already been launched - including in the areas of sport, education and culture.
